  1.     User Query Results
  2.  
  3.     This window displays the results of a User Query. The window contains 
  4.     the following buttons:
  5.  
  6.     Modify
  7.  
  8.     Click on this button to modify user accounts. A pop-up window
  9.     similar to the Create New User Account window will appear, except
  10.     you can not modify the Login name or Password fields.
  11.  
  12.     There are also two button differences in the Modify window:
  13.  
  14.     + you can use the Modify button (rather than the Add button) after
  15.       you've made all your changes and
  16.  
  17.     + you can use the Next button to modify additional user accounts if
  18.       you've selected more than one account to modify from the User
  19.       Configuration list.

  22.     Delete
  23.  
  24.     Click on this button to easily delete a user from the system. This
  25.     program will delete the user account and also (optionally) remove
  26.     the HOME directory and all of its contents (files and sub
  27.     directories) associated with the user. Highlight the username(s) you
  28.     wish to delete from the system and then click on the Delete button.
  29.     Enlighten will prompt you to confirm your action.

  31.     Enlighten will NOT delete the users HOME directory if:
  32.  
  33.     + It is considered to be a sacred (required) directory. The sacred
  34.       directories are:
  35.  
  36.         / /usr /etc /bin
  37.  
  38.         /lib /home /dev /sbin
  39.  
  40.         /usr/bin /usr/adm /usr/lib /usr/sbin
  41.  
  42.         /usr/man /usr/lib/uucp
  43.  
  44.     + It is shared by more than one user. In this case, the HOME
  45.       directory is not deleted since this would also delete the HOME
  46.       directory of any sharing co-users.
  47.  
  48.     + It is not owned by the user whose HOME directory it is supposed to
  49.       be. In this case, Enlighten will then ask for your confirmation and
  50.       before deleting it.

  52.     Furthermore, Enlighten will not delete the root user account, this
  53.     is considered to be too dangerous to allow.

  56.     Password
  57.  
  58.     Click on this button to change a currently defined User Account
  59.     password. You don't need to know the password. A pop-up window will
  60.     ask you to set the new password for the highlighted user, as shown
  61.     in the example below.

  63.     If you have selected multiple usernames, clicking on the Apply
  64.     button will set the current password and bring up the next user.
  65.     Clicking on the Next button causes Enlighten to skip to the next
  66.     selected user without changing the user's password.
  67.  
  68.     Click on the Close button to discontinue changing passwords. Any
  69.     previous changes made by using the Apply button remain; they are not
  70.     undone by clicking this button.

  72.     Lock
  73.  
  74.     Click on this button to deny a specific user access to the system
  75.     without deleting the user's account. This procedure is part of the
  76.     Enlighten security module; be cautious about who can access it. A
  77.     pop-up window will prompt you to confirm this action.

  79.     Note: You must assign a new password to unlock a user, the existing
  80.     password will be lost! See the previous section to assign a
  81.     password.

  83.     Unlock
  84.  
  85.     Click on this button to remove a lock from a user account. Because
  86.     locking and unlocking user accounts is considered part of system
  87.     security, Enlighten will ask for a new password when it unlocks a
  88.     User Account.

  90.     Expire
  91.  
  92.     Click on this button to expire the password for the selected user
  93.     account(s) immediately. This option will only work on systems which
  94.     support password aging. The next time the user attempt to login to
  95.     the system, he or she will be forced to change his/her password. You
  96.     must confirm this option before it will be executed.

  99.     View
  100.  
  101.     Click on this button to view existing User Account information. A
  102.     pop-up window will appear.

  104.     The View User window is similar to the Create New User Account
  105.     window. It has two additional fields:
  106.  
  107.     + the date and time the user last logged into the system (if
  108.       available) and
  109.  
  110.     + the date and possibly time the user last changed their password
  111.       (if available).

  114.     This is a read-only window; no modifications may be made. If you
  115.     have highlighted multiple usernames, click on the Next button to see
  116.     the next highlighted username.

  119.     Processes
  120.  
  121.     This command displays a window of all processes currently running
  122.     which belong to the highlighted users. To view the processes,
  123.     highlight the users you wish to view and then click on the Processes
  124.     button. A window will appear displaying all processes for the
  125.     highlighted users.
